Our free virtual Learn2Live road safety education events are now bookable via Eventbrite using the link below!
How it works:
There are six virtual 45 minute long presentations to choose from, each with different combinations of 999 and family speakers, so each presentation is unique. The virtual presentations will be released on the same date as the live event would have happened. We will endeavour to make the presentations geographically suitable to the location ( ie an Exeter presentation would contain speakers from Exeter or information particularly relevant to Exeter road traffic data). That said, please feel free to book on to any presentation that suits you and your tutors. We are imagining that you will have several tutors who will show the presentation to their tutor groups rather than you having a large group gathering to watch together, but this is of course down to you and social distancing requirements.
You will have access to the virtual event you have booked onto from 10am on the day of release and then you will be able to view the presentation for a further period of time afterwards. There will be a live question and answer session when we stream live at 10am on the day of release. Watching after this time will not provide you with this function. If you wish to book on to more than one presentation this is fine, but please do so via Eventbrite.
I have booked- what now?
Once booked you will receive an email confirmation from Eventbrite and an email from me which will ask you for your estimated number of students in total who will be watching, and for some information so that we can provide you with a resource pack prior to the event. Nearer the time you will receive an email from me with a link to the presentation you have chosen. We would like each college/school to book one ticket per required presentation, regardless of how many students/tutors will be accessing it. You will be able to forward the link to tutors as you see fit. This is a completely free event, we simply ask that you do not share your link with anyone outside of your college/school, and we strongly recommend that students watch with tutors present.
