The Learn2Live Partnership delivered their first road safety follow up session of the season at Honiton Community College yesterday. Emergency services workers delivered a one hour, interactive presentatation to sixth form students aimed at reminding them of the potentially life-saving messages they heard back in the main autumn theatre events. Over the next few months L2LQT sessions will be held at schools and colleges throughout Devon.
This year the content of the presentation is aimed at helping young people to realise their potential vulnerability on Devon's roads. We are empowering students to take control and reduce their own risk of being involved in a road traffic collision by teaching them methods to deal with peer pressure and coping strategies to combat impulsive behaviours.
